Flood Financial Services Joins The LPL Team

LPL Financial today announced that it is proud to welcome Flood Financial Services to LPL’s broker/dealer and registered investment advisor (RIA) platforms. Flood Financial Services reported that, based on prior business*, it served approximately $330 million of client brokerage and advisory assets, as of June 1.

“Our team wanted to join the largest independent broker-dealer** in the industry to be able to take advantage of their scale and stability that will allow us to further enhance the level of service our clients have come to know and expect,” said Richard Flood, Flood Financial Services partner and 50-year industry veteran. “LPL’s focus on providing advisors with technology and a depth of resources gives us the opportunity to operate more efficiently and to deepen our client relationships. In addition, we were impressed by LPL’s specialized team that supports succession planning and acquisitions, and we are looking forward to leveraging their expertise to grow our business in the future.”

Based in South Burlington, Vt., Flood Financial Services is made up of four advisors and five professional staff members.
