LPL Financial Announces First Quarter 2016 Results

LPL Financial Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:LPLA) (the "Company") today announced results for its first quarter ended March 31, 2016, reporting net income of $50 million, or $0.56 per share. This compares with $27 million, or $0.28 per share, in the prior quarter and $51 million, or $0.52 per share, in the first quarter of 2015.
