CHARLOTTE, N.C. – April 8, 2019 – LPL Financial LLC, a leading retail investment advisory firm and independent broker-dealer, today announced that Nana Nyanin has joined LPL Financial’s Government Relations team as Assistant Vice President. She brings experience in policy and issues affecting areas of corporate social responsibility and technology regulation.

Prior to LPL, Nyanin was the lead public policy analyst and lobbyist for federal cybersecurity and privacy issues at New York Life. As the daughter of a World Bank economist, Nyanin spent her younger years living in the Philippines, Zimbabwe and Zambia. She attended McGill University in Montreal, Canada, earning an Honors Bachelor of Arts degree in International Development Studies and Political Science. In addition, she received her Master’s degree in Local Economic Development from the London School of Economics and holds a professional certificate in Cybersecurity Strategy from Georgetown University.
